Economist 1 million

The Economist celebrated hitting a weekly worldwide circulation figure of 1 Million at the Natural History Museum. A general look and feel was created for the milestone by 400 Communications and applied to all exhibition graphics and giveaways on the night, as well as supporting literature including Advertising Rates, Classifed Rates, World Circulation Chart, and a Guide to the publication. Using a distinguished and minimal colour palette, silver foil blocking was used to highlight key information throughout the material. A visual timeline was also employed in both the exhibition graphics and brochure, showing the key milestones in The Economist's history.

Produced in significant numbers to be distributed world-wide, the campaign marked the celebration of an outstanding achievement, and was a widespread success.
