Smiths Detection, the world leading designer and manufacturer of detection equipment, asked 400 to design and produce collateral and
package their bid for the security contract for the London 2012 Olympics.
The comprehensive tender requirements and technical complexity of the bid demanded clearly organized, legible presentation of the content.
It was also important to deliver a design solution that would set Smiths Detection apart from their competitors, creating a distinctive style
that could be easily applied to the range of collateral required in the multi-stage tender process.
The creative theme that we introduced aligned the firm’s offering with the Olympics themselves. In a unique photo-shoot we security-scanned
a range of sports equipment and created a portfolio of imagery that captured the spirit of the games and the range of different materials that the firm’s security equipment could detect.
