One Youth Dance poster

Start-up dance company One Youth Dance briefed 400 to develop their brand and marketing collateral, starting with a poster to advertise
their launch auditions.

Created by dancers, OYD offers dance classes to 14-18 year-olds who wouldn’t normally be able to afford such training. It needed an eye-catching brand that would appeal to the youthful audience and stand out on crowded noticeboards in schools, colleges and leisure centres.

Our solution was bold, simple and typographic, avoiding clichéd ‘urban’-style dance imagery and graphics to provide a look and feel that
could be easily updated and adapted to a wide range of materials and merchandise.
