Engle The Malls bid document
For their expression of interest document for the regeneration of The Malls shopping centre in Basingstoke, Engle Architects turned to 400.
Opting not to brand the bid at this early stage we chose instead to develop a distinctive typographic style and colour palette to create a document that is confident, engaging and informative and provides a solid foundation for the competitive stages of the bid.

Engle The Crescent bid document
Engle's vision for Hinckley focused on a crescent shape that linked landmark buildings and public spaces to create the hub for the regeneration of the town centre.
This feature became our theme for the bid documentation, which we illustrated through format and finishes and a portfolio of photography featuring a variety of curves found in urban environments.

Engle Rochdale bid document
Engle Architects approached 400 to design and produce their final stage bid document to redevelop the town centre of Rochdale.
Having interviewed local residents and incorporated their feedback into their designs, Engle wanted to demonstrate how their proposals
would retain Rochdale's character.
We reflected Engle's inclusive approach through photography of these local residents with the Rochdale icon, and incorporating these
images as double-page spreads within the document.
