Metropolitan Home Ownership came to 400 to design the look and feel of their 2007-10 Business Plan. While the short turnaround time, brand guidelines and sustainability schedule drove many of the design decisions, the business plan and its progressive community aims were at the heart of the document.
MHO’s ambition and passion in the future of their business is highlighted throughout the document. Printed two colours to reduce costs, the dominant use of MHO purple maintains a strong brand presence. To further enhance that presence key words, chosen for their impact and relevance, are boldly showcased on the outer binder and throughout the document directing focus to the core elements of MHO’s business philosophy.
As a socially and environmentally conscious organization, the business plan binder was screen-printed on cairn board made from 100% recycled post consumer waste with inner pages printed on FSC certified paper. At a comfortable A5 size the 120-page business plan is small enough to be kept on a desk for ease of reference but still commands attention. With text set to a single column grid and ample white space, the design ensures legibility and easy navigation.
