September | Anquet - Digital Mapping refreshed

Anquet are a leading producer of digital maps, and have recently launched a new ‘token’ version of their software that allows the user to select and download any area of terrain, in any scale, as opposed to purchasing CD copies of pre-defined Ordnance Survey maps.

Accessibility and simplicity were set as key factors so potential customers who may be unaware of digital mapping were not confused. Entwined within these principles was the need for a more striking company image that would clearly differentiate Anquet from the competition. Light, attractive colours and a cleaner, less cramped display of information mean that both visually and typographically, Anquet stand out.

The colour scheme subtly reflects the difference in price. Warm greens and oranges gradually incline through to a distinguished silver/grey, and maintain consistency in virtue of their commonplace occurrence on outdoor maps. A visual aid for the diversity of the software was generated through an overlap of different map types of the same geographical area, instantly demonstrating how Anquet transforms mapping.Deluxe - Brochure
